今の日本人は待つということが下手になってしまったようだ。なにしろ遅れたバスを待つ場合には、ものの10分もすると落ち着かなくなる。

Now the Japanese are more inpatient than they were. For example, they got irritated in a few minutes when they are waiting for a bus.
なんだかなぁ。イマイチだ。待つのが下手=inpatientと抽象化してしまっていいものだろうか。For exampleも原文とは意図が違う気もするが、なにか前の文とのつなぎがほしいしなぁ。
模範
The Japanese today seem to be unable to wait patiently. When they are waiting for a bus that is overdue, for example, they get restless in ten minutes or so.
